The aliens were big, green and slimy, with multiple wavy eyes on stalks on top their heads. They had rows of grimy pointy teeth, which looked like they had never seen a dentist.
Moving through the school with great efficiency they immobilized everyone with an ugly-looking spray gun. It spat out a glowing green goo that covered their victims from head to toe. This glued them to the spot and set as hard as concrete.
As one sprayed the students with the quick-setting green goo, another alien moved in to pick them up and bundle them into a net, which was filling fast. Their mission was clear – collect as many young and healthy specimens of humanity as possible.
“I recognise these aliens,” Heroickle whispered to the four others huddled under the desk. “They are just like the green monsters in my favorite game, Gears of Destruction! There is only one way to defeat them.”
What chance did Heroickle have to save his friends and save the Earth? Would his computer gaming skills be enough to overcome a superior invading alien army?
